On the first day in Buenos Aires I had arranged an evening out at a tango nightclub so, with the daytime available, I set off to explore the city.

It is a very nice city, lots of tree-lined avenues and parks with large mature trees.

I walked about four miles and managed to find the cemetery where Eve Peron’s tomb is located:

There was a body on deck when I retuned to the ship:

The evening’s entertainment started with a superb meal, probably the largest and nicest steak I ever had, plus lots of fine Argentinian merlot.

The show was just amazing with brilliant dancers and musicians. A great night out, certainly one to remember.

A late night, too much wine, and an early start tomorrow for the second day in Buenos Aires. Oh dear…
